Care During Labour and Birth

Your midwife will provide you with clear instructions about when to page in labour.

 

When the time comes, usually once active labour begins, your midwife will assess you either at home, in the hospital, or at the birth centre.

 

During labour, midwives monitor the client and the baby’s wellbeing, and the labour progress. We provide clinical care and support during your labour, help you to birth your baby and continue care for the immediate postpartum period.
