Diversity Midwives' Client Committee

Our client committee is made up of present and past clients of Diversity Midwives who are interested in the provision of midwifery care in the greater Scarborough areas. The committee assists midwives at Diversity to maintain a community-based focus to our care by providing a forum for client voices to be heard.

Activities include:

  • Organizing reunion picnics and other events where clients and midwives can reconnect.
  • Providing a client voice to help shape the future of midwifery at Diversity and elsewhere in the province.
  • Helping to lobby government and other stakeholders for improved access to midwifery care in Ontario.
  • Assisting midwives with community outreach by coming to events and sharing your experience of midwifery care.

All present and past clients are welcome to attend a committee meeting, share their experience of midwifery care with others like themselves and become involved in our various activities .

If you are interested in participating in the Client Committee, please contact our practice administrator, Donna Parker, at 416-609-8187.
